[00:35:02] S1: No. Not 100 times an [00:35:04] S0: hour. Two point six says last last few products have been kinda mid. The Vision Pro, the the HomeView [00:35:10] S1: Yeah. [00:35:10] S0: The Air, which my biggest [00:35:12] S1: People like the Air. [00:35:13] S0: The biggest Apple fanboy I know [00:35:15] S1: Yeah. [00:35:15] S0: Returned the Air. Really? It's just like the camera and the battery are so bad. Yeah. So the Air Yeah. We definitely... Let's get a let's get a home... I'll give it I'll give it a chance. Let's get a home view. Let's put it on the desk here. [00:35:26] S1: I still think that if you're gonna do the smart home thing, going all in on an ecosystem that ties to your phone, and if you're in the Apple ecosystem, it's not gonna be the best if you rolled your own and and had all the perfect things and and every... Or everything was analog. But if you have an integration to your... This brain rod on the screen is really messing with me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. [00:35:49] S2: Sucks. [00:35:52] S0: The It's undeniable that all the new products have just been, like, uninspired and very mid. [00:36:01] S1: It seems like there's a pretty big disconnect between the hardware and software teams right now because there was a report that said that the HomeView was sitting in boxes in warehouses for months waiting to ship because the software had not been updated. So they were sort of lagging there on Apple intelligence. [00:36:16] S0: Sebastian says, I fear the man who has greased his phone 10,000 times. That's funny. B says,

[00:36:16] S0: Sebastian says, I fear the man who has greased his phone 10,000 times. That's funny. B says, [00:36:27] S2: They need to take a walk, regroup, [00:36:29] S0: and come back. I agree. [00:36:30] S1: Isn't the line [00:36:31] S0: I'll take a walk around Cupertino and come back. [00:36:33] S1: Isn't the line, fear not the man who has creased 10,000 iPhone Duos, fear the man who has creased one iPhone Duo 10,000 I liked [00:36:44] S0: his version. [00:36:45] S1: I like that. That's good. I don't know. Some of these some of these apps people are like. This one is a wooden book or something. What is the... What what is what is this? [00:36:55] S2: You need the audio. [00:36:56] S1: You need the audio? Oh, it's creaking? Okay. [00:36:59] S0: See, this is great. [00:37:00] S1: That's great. [00:37:01] S0: I'm I'm backed. I'm I'm sold now. [00:37:03] S1: I saw Blake Robbins was talking about some golf game that seemed like [00:37:06] S0: This is like the this is like the the beer app. [00:37:09] S1: Yeah. The beer app. This is fun. Creaking. It's cool that the hinge that the hinge amount is is vended somewhere in the software via an API. So, like, the developer can actually take advantage of that. So you will be able to have games that utilize the folding the hinge. So you could have a you could have a tactile game of some sort where you try and hinge it a bunch. Interesting. Or I wonder if it's just hijacking the accelerometer. Or I I wonder if you actually get like a like an integer value or float for for that in in the API. Interesting.

Is pretty rough. [00:37:50] S1: Yeah. Also very expensive. The the the price is is really really high, especially internationally. I think it's a couple [00:37:55] S0: of I'm bucks not worried. It's in the name. Turnus. Turn us around. [00:38:00] S1: Yeah. Think so. [00:38:01] S0: He's gonna do it. [00:38:02] S1: I think so.

[00:38:02] S1: I think so. [00:38:03] S0: He's gonna do it, I believe. In other news, Quest Diagnostics has been hacked. Brutal. Patient data was exposed. They serve roughly half of US hospitals and physicians. Investigation is ongoing. Quest said, Yesterday, we have identified an incident involving unauthorized access to our Quantum Lab service manager, which certain clients use to place test orders, receive and look up results. It's interesting they say certain clients. Like you imagine, like, pretty much they probably have some other ways to check it. Like this seems like Upon they're kind of like the main discovery of the incident, we paused access to the system and we are continuing to investigate the incident. Our core business operations are not impacted and remain up and running. What data was affected? We believe some patient data within Quantum LSM was accessed but other systems were not affected. We are working diligently to investigate the incident to determine the specific data affected. Does this mean patient health information or patient identifiable information was part of the unauthorized access? Yes. Yes. But we are still investigating to determine the specific data.

[00:39:18] S1: So they probably have some cyber insurance policy that was inked, like, years ago. And so they'll probably be... Have to pay out some sort of settlement or class action. But the the financial motivation behind this one is curious. Like, understand the botnets installing crypto miners, stealing crypto, stealing API tokens to work on large scale distillation attacks. But you get a bunch of patient data. I'm wondering what the value of that is to a hacker other than just like you were trying to hack everything and why not this website too if it's running PHP or something. But do you have any comments? [00:39:57] S0: Comments are saying like medical records of politicians in the wrong hands could give them leverage for blackmailing, [00:40:07] S1: Yeah, [00:40:10] S0: John would hate for his four digit testosterone to leak. [00:40:17] S1: I mean, it's clearly bad, bad, bad. And it's also very, very bad that they didn't act sooner in patch systems and be part of Daybreak or Glasswing or something. Like, it's just so rough. But now people are saying that there's some hardware level security flaws that are not entirely patchable. And so you have to, effectively get new servers in some cases because there might be a flaw down at the silicon level, which is extremely difficult to deal with. But yeah, the...

And so you have to, effectively get new servers in some cases because there might be a flaw down at the silicon level, which is extremely difficult to deal with. But yeah, the... [00:40:55] S0: Yeah, other people are pointing out that they test for drug screens, cancer tests, pregnancy tests, STD, HIV. So a lot of really, really private information. So yeah, there hasn't been really any new news since this came out yesterday that I can find. And so hopefully it was narrow and not the worst case scenario. [00:41:22] S1: Yeah. Still just, yeah, so many cyber attacks. And everyone's sort of blackmailing. All the AI researchers are saying, like, it's going get worse. It's to be more and more and more stuff. Spore is saying, well, the Internet was nice while it lasted. I think this is referring to the original PHP flaw, but also everything else that's going on. And Nick Carter has one solution, which is buy a backup generator, because he doesn't think we're that far away from any gentic attack on the grid. Again, like, that would just be for the love of the game or the hate of the target, essentially. Like, I mean, I guess you could short stocks. [00:42:02] S0: Don't they do ransom? [00:42:04] S1: Yeah. Ransomware attacks, basically. Guess that would
