PayJoy CEO Doug Ricket says the company will launch an attestation protocol and a tradable fund token in October 2026, both aimed at preventing double-pledged loans and speeding investor liquidity.
Ricket says PayJoy's asset fund, which has grown past half a billion dollars against a 15 percent target return, gives the fund the first 15 percent while excess returns flow to the tech company.
Pranav Sood, Airwallex's EMEA general manager, says about 93 to 94% of the company's annual transaction volume now runs on local payment rails, with around 70% same-day and 50% instant.
Sood argues currency conversion traps can cost merchants two to 4% more than necessary, making transparent pricing a key test when choosing a payments provider.
