So basically, you are able to get this high quality at a cheaper price because these AIs are able to correct each other and fill in each other's gap. And basically, get... Your final result is a very high value output. [00:23:45] S0: Alright. Krishna, you're you're writing a book called Agentic Coding: The Boring Way. So tell us about this book, first of all, you know, and also tell us what does the boring way really mean? You know, why not the exciting way? [00:24:00] S1: Yeah. Have you heard of this term token maxing by any chance? [00:24:06] S0: Yep. Yep. Absolutely. [00:24:08] S1: Yes. So I think everyone has heard this term token maxing that you go and you, like, burn the tokens like there is no tomorrow. But maybe I want to ask a question. Why in the first place do you wanted to use AI? [00:24:22] S0: Well, I guess some of the time. I guess, especially with with Claude, I really, you know, I I want to feel like I have maxed out my talking for daddy to kinda give me this feel like, oh, I'm being productive here. Sometimes, actually. Yeah.

[00:24:44] S1: Yeah. Exactly. Right. So, basically, the main like you said, it is being productive. What we want to achieve, we want to become more productive. So currently, across the world, as we see in the news that there is AI driven layoffs are happening, that people are getting fired because the idea is that AI can solve this problem at a cheaper cost. But if you really see that, when you think about stuff like token maxing, you are actually spending a lot of money to solve a very simple task, and then you are not getting any return on your investment. You are actually not becoming more productive because the idea of productivity is that you are able to do more with less. But if you are able to do less with more, then it does not make any sense, right? So, that's why I said this, I'm trying to write this book, The Boring Way, and the subtitle is Stop Token Maxing, Start ROI Maxing. So, the idea is that you want to be able to get as much return on investment as possible using whatever resources you are using. So let it be AI or let it be any employee you have. You want to make sure that if you spend like, I don't know, dollars 10 on something, you are able to get 100 or $200 worth of benefit out of it. Right? And currently, another big problem is that all these AI companies, they are giving AI a discount. We all see that once these AI subsidies go down, the cost of AI can go four to five times up. So imagine currently, we are already struggling to get real productivity with AI. And on top of that, the cost of AI will go five times more. Then people will actually stop using AI. And Gartner has also released a research like two weeks ago where they showed that overall, when you use too much of AI, you are actually spending more money compared to get that work done using humans. So, all this bullshit that you fired so many people did not actually help you. It actually helped these big companies like Anthropic or OpenAI. That's why they're preaching you to do token maxing because you spending money means they earn more money, and then they do IPO. And they are rich. The investors are rich, and people like you and me are poor.

[00:27:17] S0: Alright. Alright. So, Krishna, you know, for the listeners, you know, to to to wrap things up here today, for the listeners who actually want to go follow your work, you know, they want to join the waitlist for your book. They want to learn more about Omukai. You know, where is the best place for them to go? [00:27:36] S1: Yeah. So they can definitely connect me on my LinkedIn to me, and also I have a Twitter account, and then I also have a form, a wait list for my book. And the reason why people should look in my book is that I only spoke about the problem that, what happens when you go for token maxing, but how you actually get the highest amount of return on investment is the solution part that's mentioned in that particular book. And I'm already sharing some snippets from my thesis on my LinkedIn, on my Twitter. So, if you check my post on a regular basis, you will get a lot of insights. Also, I will go to UC Berkeley in a month to present my research paper and my thesis on Agentic Coding: The Boring Way. So I see a lot of people slowly acknowledging what I'm doing, and I'm pretty sure it will be super helpful to all of you. So... Yeah. So please join me on my LinkedIn, Twitter, and then please fill in the form and join the waitlist. And then thank you so much, Ezekiel, for the invitation. [00:28:48] S0: Alright, Krishna. It has been indeed an insightful and interesting conversation with you here today, sir. And once again, Krishna, thank you very much for taking the time to join us on the show today.
