Sixteen:Nine - All Digital Signage, Some Snark

[00:28:45] S0: My favorite thing with that, with the Indian research factories is I will drill down and I will find their address of their office and then I'll go on Google Street maps and then get the street view. It's absolutely hysterical. Some of these places it's like a shack on a road or whatever or if they have a US office it's in like a strip mall or something like that. You see a report from India, if you see a report from some company you've never heard of, consider it to be garbage. Produce reports on everything on condoms, on silicone sealants and everything else one after another and they purport to be experts in digital signage, they're not. [00:29:28] S1: Yeah, I mean, there's Avixa YOTA study, which is really solid and there's FutureSource, there's a few others, but it's really a handful of market research we trust. And even that research, they try their best, but even that you always have to be cautious with certain things, especially as long as China's included because Chinese market numbers are always impossible to believe. [00:29:49] S0: Yeah, and just on that point, it's really important for companies in this industry to have some trust and when you guys try to do your... Our yearbook. [00:30:03] S1: In half an hour, get the yearbook. You go. It's all the new numbers. [00:30:06] S0: But you put out that business climate index. Yes, yes. And ask companies for how are you doing and everything else. It's pulling teeth, right?

[00:30:06] S0: But you put out that business climate index. Yes, yes. And ask companies for how are you doing and everything else. It's pulling teeth, right? [00:30:15] S1: It is, it is. And it's a challenge and we would love all of you to participate more because it's very challenging to get that, but we need that and it's good for you. It gives you once a quarter, it gives you some feedback of how the market is developing and that's really important because we all know Q1, Q4 are the best quarters And then we look at our books, I'm not sure. Good. Dave, thanks a lot. [00:30:36] S0: Thank you. [00:30:36] S1: I know everyone wants a beer, but we have only half an hour between the beer and us, but we have the wards now. And we have just to clear off this desk, and then we start immediately with the warts show, and then we will present to the warts, and then we are off to the to the beer garden. So please hold on for a few more minutes, few more moments, then we're ready.
