[00:19:10] S0: That's awesome. Alright. So I do have to address this because every time... We've done plenty of hot takes now. We did one at the New York Stock Exchange. We did one in Paris at the Raise AI Summit. So I have to ask you now, what is your hottest take? [00:19:26] S1: Every time I do a hot take with you, I get in trouble. Because usually, last time we did it, I said you should buy SpaceX stock and then Elon retweeted it. But you were right. Was a 100% right. Okay. And then what was my hottest take? Let's stick on the theme. So Elon posted that they're going be worth $100,000,000,000,000 in ten years. I think they might be worth more than $100,000,000,000,000 in [00:19:53] S0: You 10 do. Yes. If all goes to plan and there's no world war, believe SpaceX you will be worth more than a $100,000,000,000,000? [00:20:01] S1: Correct. [00:20:02] S0: Okay. Well, that'll be good for business. [00:20:06] S1: Yeah, exactly. [00:20:07] S0: What would make that up though? So break that down. How do you think about it? [00:20:12] S1: Actually, mostly a good chunk of it will come from the fact that Tesla's Optimus will be up and running. And so once you have Optimus is building Optimus factories, then you have this incredible exponential and so for all of manufacturing, rate of growth will increase a lot once optimus is producing optimuses. It's a bit like what's happening now with the recursive self improvement but for the physical world. [00:20:41] S0: Do you think Tesla will merge with SpaceX, which will help with that?
00:20:41 · Molly O'Shea, Philip Johnston
[00:20:41] S0: Do you think Tesla will merge with SpaceX, which will help with that? [00:20:45] S1: This isn't a hard take. This is just a fact. SpaceX is going to buy Tesla, and they have to wait until the unlocks of the stock because if they do, then everyone's gonna say the price wasn't fair. So at the moment, yeah, the... At the moment, it's... You're not gonna see too many announcements, but I think there's a Roadster announcement tonight. But beyond that, I don't think you're gonna see any announcements about Optimus for the next year. And then once they once they do the merger, then we'll hear a lot more. [00:21:14] S0: I know this will come out after the Roadster announcement, but what's your prediction? [00:21:20] S1: What I've heard is they have these cold gas thrusters from Star... From one... From, like, the spacecraft that they've... So you have a compressor that's compressing air essentially, and then that's being fired out the back, which means... Which gives you like absurd acceleration and cornering and everything else. And also, think... I think there's... I think... [00:21:41] S0: Lift? [00:21:42] S1: Lift. Yeah. Usually think you can get lift on these things. [00:21:45] S0: Oh my gosh. [00:21:46] S1: What do what do you what do you think? [00:21:47] S0: I just... I kind of thought it might be an eVTOL. [00:21:52] S1: That would be wild, but I don't think it is. [00:21:55] S0: You don't think it is? [00:21:56] S1: We would know by now if it's an eVTOL. [00:21:58] S0: Think you could just skip the whole car thing and just go to eVTOL, call it a roadster.

[00:21:58] S0: Think you could just skip the whole car thing and just go to eVTOL, call it a roadster. [00:22:03] S1: That would be amazing. I like it. That would be incredible, but, I would be extremely surprised if it's an eVTOL. [00:22:09] S0: Alright. Stay tuned for our [00:22:10] S1: predictions. Oh my god. I don't know. This one is [00:22:16] S0: a little bit more than length. [00:22:18] S1: Length and girth. Length and girth. [00:22:21] S0: That's crazy. So is this for what? This [00:22:25] S1: for screwing in bolts. That's crazy. [00:22:30] S0: Where did you find this? [00:22:31] S1: I went to a Halloween store this morning because I was like... Well, that's actually pretty impressive [00:22:35] S0: for Halloween. [00:22:35] S1: I can't be sword mugged by the rest

We finished looking at Starcloud two. Now you wanna go into

[00:24:29] S1: We'll go to the fab shop Alright. So we can see where we're welding and fabricating various aluminum and steel parts, some of which for the actual spacecraft and most of which is for test equipment and other things. Maybe Ezra can talk a bit about the fab shop. [00:24:49] S2: Yeah, this is a big upgrade from our last facility. So we've literally just moved in here as of like the last few days. So everything's a little bit chaotic, but we moved from this tiny office building into into this lovely manufacturing space. And this area of it is we call the fab shop. So this is where we do dirtier work so that the cleaner work goes on in there. Dirtier work happens here, so we're talking sheet metal work, welding, and general general fabrication. So we have lots of fab shop equipment here. We have MIG welding, TIG welding, laser welding. We have a shear for sheet metal, and right here we have the manufacturing demonstrator for Starcloud three. So Starcloud three is our largest platform. It's a two ton vehicle approximately. Okay. So this is the Starcloud three manufacturing demonstrator. So we we wanted to get some experience building a primary structure of the scale of our Starcloud three vehicle. So this vehicle is designed to go through the Pez dispenser door for Starship. It's around two tons, fully loaded, 235 kilowatts, and we can deploy up to 50 of them per Starship launch. [00:26:11] S0: My god. And... I've not seen Starship where I have no idea on the scale of that, but you said two of these fit in? [00:26:21] S2: So per layer. So you get two two of these.
00:26:21 · Ezra Feilden, Molly O'Shea
[00:26:21] S2: So per layer. So you get two two of these. [00:26:24] S0: Wide and then... [00:26:25] S2: Wide and then 25 tall. [00:26:27] S0: Oh my god. [00:26:28] S2: So it's... Yeah. From here to the ceilings of these stacked in... So right now, we're [00:26:31] S0: in the middle of Starship. We're inside of it. [00:26:33] S2: Yeah. Okay. Yeah. That gives you an idea of the diameter of Starship, the fact that this can fit in there. It's an enormous vehicle. [00:26:41] S0: How have you guys been launching today? What are, I know you have three launches coming up as well. [00:26:45] S2: So our first launch was with Falcon nine. So yeah, Falcon nine rideshare mission. Our upcoming launches are all with Falcon. And, yeah, it's really it's really hard to beat the the the benefits and the economics of of rideshare when you're when you're producing single missions like we are at the moment. The future is definitely Starship, and that's what we're we're gearing up for here. [00:27:13] S0: What's the process like for booking a ride? [00:27:16] S2: First of booking rideshare is unbelievably easy. So it's actually the... Basically, the first thing we did as a company was we booked the launch for Starcloud one. [00:27:24] S0: Do you have to book it really far in advance? Like how do you, how do you, I mean, you're like gunning for getting on the vehicle, but like how does that work?
