And so my big dream for the future of our relationship with our technology is that we start to think as we are using these tools what are the ways in which this tool can serve me best? What can make the technology in the terms of Ivan Illich convivial? How can I make it empower me to be more creative, to be more connected with my friends, my families, my loved ones? How can I make my phone not a tool of distraction but a tool of connection? In many ways what I am asking people to do is to think a little bit like our dear friend, the late Juan Atkins.
