[00:00:00] S0: What do you guys do? [00:00:00] S1: Delegate is a marketplace for your agent, so it can actually find, hire, and pay for the tools as well as the services that it needs to get the job done. [00:00:11] S0: Is the consumer b to b, or does it not matter [00:00:12] S1: to you at the of the day? We have both. A lot of our customers are relatively young b two b's. We have, like, a lot of sort of founder style, freelance style, almost b two c style users. And now this stuff is mostly tools for the agents to do its job, but going forward, that stuff will be physical goods and anything else. Right now, there's almost 700 services, and that number is growing every day on the platform. [00:00:32] S0: How'd those 700 partnerships come [00:00:34] S1: to be? Was it manual hand to hand combat? It's a mix of things. Like, we [00:00:41] S0: Max, welcome to the show. [00:00:42] S1: Pleasure to have you, Brett. [00:00:44] S0: So I know you guys just came out of stealth or just launched a few weeks ago, but I feel like the story actually begins much, much sooner. So take us back to to late twenty seventeen and the the founding of Genesis Cloud Cloud.

[00:00:44] S0: So I know you guys just came out of stealth or just launched a few weeks ago, but I feel like the story actually begins much, much sooner. So take us back to to late twenty seventeen and the the founding of Genesis Cloud Cloud. [00:00:54] S1: Yeah. That was a time when neo clouds weren't a thing. And we had sort of the idea that all those GPUs that back then were starting to become scarce, no comparison to, like, today, but starting to become scarce, and mostly being used for crypto mining, which is one of the reasons why they become scarce, that we actually use them for cloud computing and serving sort of these very early emerging use cases of machine learning, visual visual effects rendering, things like that. And so, yeah, that's how that's how it started. That was the original idea. It sounds very simple. Like, you just use the GPUs and put them in a cloud. It was much harder than that as we figured out. And eventually, though, we kind of managed how to do it and started a data center in Iceland, used basically consumer grade GPUs that we remodeled to be able to support those kind of use cases and, build up a, one of the early neo clouds, up to 5,000 mostly b two b users in, different different areas.

[00:01:59] S0: And if we jump ahead now to Delegate, you know, one of the things I've been talking about with your cofounder Marco for a few years now is, you know, what's next? What's next? Like, what are you gonna do next? And I've been anxiously waiting and excited to see what comes. Really was excited to see that you two decided to cofound something together. Talk to us about the company if you were just explain at a at a very high level. What do you guys do?
00:02:16 · Maximilian Freiermuth, Brett
[00:02:16] S1: Yeah. So Delegate is a marketplace for your Claude or Codex agent. So it can actually find, hire, and pay for the tools and as well as well as the services that it needs to get the job done. So to give you an example, you are looking for certain companies and ask Claude, hey, find me companies of a certain type. Maybe you have podcasts with, you know, say, series A plus startups in SF. It can do that through Google search, but there's actually a much higher quality layer of data available for purchase. What you usually need to do is go on that provider's homepage, start an account, put your credit card in, add that like API or MCP connection to your cloud, and then you're able to use that. That's a lot of friction. That's also like probably a lot of money for like a very little piece of data you might only need for that for that moment. And it's also like really restricting you because that provider is just one out of really a lot. And what we think is that in the future, humans actually don't have to take all these steps and agents can actually like procure automatically basically what is the right tool and the right services for that job to get it done and then procure it in a fractional way. So basically only pay for what they actually use. And yeah, that's kind of the future we're trying to work for. [00:03:40] S0: Now maybe just to to visualize it [00:03:41] S1: with my own pain.
00:03:41 · Maximilian Freiermuth, Brett
[00:03:41] S1: with my own pain. [00:03:42] S0: So let me let me walk you through some scenarios, and you can let me know if this if this resonates and, like, this would would solve the pain point. So we have a few go to market engineers. As you just mentioned, like, we're sending out a lot of outreach to venture backed companies to sell our our services to effectively. And the workflow that they've built is, we're connected via Claude, and then we're connected to Apollo. They have to go run enrichment, get the list of people that we wanna target, then they have to go to Clay, then, like, three or four other platforms. And the joke that I've had or the frustration, I don't think it's even a joke, is, like, my full time job now is just signing up for new platforms and then changing admin status and adding more credits. And it's, like, the most annoying, painful work that, like, I despise doing. Like, could this solve this? Like, is that a pain point that you guys could solve?
00:04:22 · Maximilian Freiermuth, Brett
[00:04:22] S1: That's exactly the the pain point. Like, you... I feel the same way. Like, I'm feeling like the only thing I'm still doing with Claude and Codex is, like, giving it access to things all the time and, like, you know, like buying new things so it can actually, like, integrate with it. In the future, we think that, like, you don't need to do that. Like, your agent should be able to do that. The only way it can, though, safely and securely do that, if you know it actually has a platform where the services that are in there are like, you know, quality checked, there's no like prompt injection in there, it's safe, etcetera, etcetera. And that's kind of like... That's exactly what we do. [00:04:57] S0: When you think about this product and this platform, I feel like there's a million different directions that you could go. I know you're early in the launch, but how are you thinking about the the beachhead market to serve or the initial markets to serve?
