Lenny's Podcast: Product | Career | Growth

[01:43:48] S0: We had Marc Andreessen on the podcast, and his kid's coding in Replit. He's nine years old. He's just like going hard, and I'm guessing he's going to be very successful. So I'm pro of that. Okay. Final question. You're a fancy podcast host now. You started a podcast about a year ago. What's something that surprised you about becoming a podcast host, starting a podcast, doing a podcast? [01:44:10] S1: I don't know if people give you enough credit. Man, this work is hard. There's a lot. I mean, people think, "Oh, you show up, and you turn on your laptop, and you chit-chat with somebody fun for an hour and you move on." There is so much that goes into the business of podcasting that I have found so interesting to learn because my entire background has been very similar to yours in software and startups and technology, which have different revenue models and different business models and different types of work you have to do. And learning the business of podcasting has been really... I was surprised at how interesting I have found that. And then it's a lot of work to get something that looks so effortless on the other side. And so it's not just the prep and the research and the thumbnails and all that, it's making sure that you find great guests, that you can make look good, it's finding the right timing. And so I've been really surprised at the complexity of the business. And you know what? I was not surprised at how good you are at it, but I'm glad we're partners because you're very good at it.

[01:45:20] S0: Me too. Claire, you're also amazing at this. I feel like you found your calling in addition to building ChatPRD. [01:45:26] S1: Thanks. [01:45:27] S0: Okay. Two final questions. Where can folks find you online if they want to check out all the stuff you're up to, and how can listeners be useful to you?

[01:45:27] S0: Okay. Two final questions. Where can folks find you online if they want to check out all the stuff you're up to, and how can listeners be useful to you? [01:45:33] S1: Yep.
