[00:00:00] S0: You're watching TBPN. Today is [00:00:02] S1: Wednesday, 06/10/2026. We are live from the TBPN UltraDome. The Temple Of Technology, the fortress of finance, capital of capital. Let me tell you about ramp.com, baby. Time is money. Save both. Easy to use corporate cards, bill pay, accounting, and a whole lot Ramp. Ramp. You go to ramp. Ramp. Ramp. Ramp. Ramp. You want some accounting help? They're gonna say yes, and thank you for using us. [00:00:25] S0: And what else? [00:00:27] S1: Two major stories, bunch of major stories, but the big one, Facebook got a movie, another movie. Actually, a third movie, if you count the documentary. There's been The Social Network, The Social Dilemma, and now The Social Reckoning. Only two of those are are movies. The Social Dilemma is a documentary, but it's very interesting. And the Ananthropic got a fable, and there's been a ton of reaction. Ben Thompson was writing about it to the rollout there, The Wall Street Journal. They're like, the announcement should have been like, the really good model launches. And people are amazed with what it can do, but they they put the title Anthropic puts curbs on AI models. So the well, I'm sure you've seen this on the timeline, but we'll take you through some of the some of the some of the debates over how restricted the model is in certain areas. Bio is a big one. Cyber is another one. There's a bunch of funny examples. There's a bunch of reasonable arguments for doing this type of stuff. So we'll go through all of it. [00:01:28] S0: Can we talk about I who's joining the show today?

[00:01:28] S0: Can we talk about I who's joining the show today? [00:01:30] S1: Absolutely. We got a bunch of great guests. [00:01:33] S0: What a lineup. [00:01:34] S1: What a lineup. Hey Clicky founder Farza Majeed is joining. You've probably seen his viral demo last week. We're very excited to talk to him about computer use, potential consumer AI applications, what he's doing to build hands free AI voice assistance. The CEO of Snowflake is coming on. CEO of Cloudflare is coming on. Vinod Khosla from Khosla Ventures is coming on. And then Brett Taylor. Brett Taylor didn't even make the cutoff on today's lineup. What's going on [00:02:03] S0: here? Brutal. [00:02:04] S2: And of [00:02:05] S0: course we have Markie Wagner [00:02:06] S1: Markie Wagner. [00:02:06] S0: Coming out Founder. Announcing emerging from stealth with her new company. [00:02:10] S1: We're very excited. [00:02:10] S0: She's fantastic. [00:02:12] S1: So I want to kick it off with the the Social Network sequel. I want to watch the trailer for The Social Reckoning because Jeremy Strong is playing Mark Zuckerberg. I've heard people say, hey, he looks he looks like Zuck, like the styling is there. [00:02:30] S0: Henry says no no Doug from semi analysis. [00:02:33] S1: But we gotta get him on. [00:02:34] S0: We should we should get Doug [00:02:35] S1: Let's hit him up. [00:02:36] S0: Hit up Doug. [00:02:37] S1: Let's get him on. [00:02:38] S0: And see if he's available. [00:02:40] S1: So Not [00:02:40] S0: that we have any time, but we'll make time. We'll we'll
00:02:40 路 Jordi Hays, John Coogan, S3, Jeremy Strong, S5
[00:02:40] S0: that we have any time, but we'll make time. We'll we'll [00:02:42] S1: make time for Doug anytime. So the the one critique is Jeremy Strong looks a little bit older than Mark Zuckerberg did in 2011. [00:02:51] S0: Calling him unk? Or [00:02:53] S1: It just it just it just doesn't it it it I think it'll color the movie a little bit in the sense that the the film is telling the story of this, like, very difficult whistleblower situation. And and it's different when it looks like a, you know, a mature adult versus someone who was young and running running into these problems for the first time. [00:03:17] S0: Anyway Matthew Prince. What? He is joining. [00:03:20] S1: Yeah. He's joining. We yeah. We got the Cloudflare [00:03:22] S0: 12:30 Pacific. [00:03:23] S1: 12:30. Get ready. We're gonna go through Cloudflare. They have exciting news. I think it's public already, but I don't wanna blow them up if it's gonna be announced later today. But anyway, I want to I want to react to the the trailer. So let's pull up the trailer. [00:03:39] S3: Listen, before I go on, I want to make something clear. [00:03:41] S1: This is how it starts. Okay. [00:03:43] S3: I have a hunch you're not a fan of Facebook, but I am. I am here to help Facebook, not hurt it. Okay? [00:03:50] S4: Alright. You send me a message. What would you like to talk about? [00:03:57] S3: The chairman gavels a session to order. You'll read your opening statement, which we'll skip past for now. [00:04:05] S5: That's a [00:04:05] S3: separate session. And we'll move to witness questioning.

[00:04:05] S3: separate session. And we'll move to witness questioning. [00:04:10] S4: Spell your name and state your current occupation for the record. [00:04:13] S1: So is it not m a r k [00:04:15] S4: c u K, e r b e r g. [00:04:17] S1: Let's see. [00:04:17] S4: And your occupation? [00:04:19] S1: Zuckerberg. I'm a professional Co produced and directed by Aaron Sridhar. [00:04:24] S3: Groups where 30% of content hits multiple risk factors. [00:04:27] S1: Hang on. I don't piece to the social [00:04:29] S3: Are you a tech reporter? Ish. Ish? Is this [00:04:32] S4: Mike counting on the next round [00:04:34] S1: of congressional testimony, make a likable mark. Jeff Horwitz. [00:04:37] S6: I'm happy to lend a hand, but I think you're [00:04:39] S1: doing He wrote broken code. He was journalist at the Wall Street Journal. He is a journalist at the Wall Street company [00:04:43] S4: and Broken [00:04:44] S1: a number of global news stories. Including the Facebook files. [00:04:49] S4: The fire hose of bad information, you are injecting it to the air supply. [00:04:52] S1: The builder? [00:04:53] S3: Becoming jet power. [00:04:53] S4: I'm a free speech absolutist. I'm not the one who's lying. And I'm not stopping them [00:04:58] S1: from seeing someone who is. It's not a bad Zuck impression. He's got the voice tone pretty down. [00:05:02] S3: Worse as a result of time spent on the platform. Senior leadership knows and is doing nothing. [00:05:08] S4: I know there are easier enemies to make. The mafia would be an easier enemy to make. [00:05:13] S3: So what would you need?
00:05:13 路 S3, Jeremy Strong, John Coogan, Farza Majeed, Bret Taylor, Jordi Hays, Markie Wagner, Sridhar Ramaswamy
[00:05:13] S3: So what would you need? [00:05:14] S4: To stand up the story? The internal documents. [00:05:16] S3: This is a material violation of my NDA. [00:05:19] S4: We're twice as big as the biggest country on Earth. We're not frightened of Congress. We're post government around here. [00:05:24] S1: Please. Twice as big as the biggest country on earth. [00:05:26] S6: We [00:05:27] S3: have a hundred and two hours to get [00:05:28] S2: From a [00:05:29] S0: from a user standpoint? [00:05:30] S1: Oh, okay. Users. [00:05:31] S7: I don't wanna be made an example of by a guy with unlimited resources. [00:05:35] S8: Harm, I promise you, is imminent. Enough. [00:05:38] S4: People around here understand that when I say no, that's the end of the debate. I'm not two years out of a dorm room anymore, Charlie. Look around. [00:05:48] S1: Man, if they were trying to go as inspirational as the social network, they really missed the mark there. What happened? [00:05:54] S0: Yeah. So that their intention was to try to fire up the next generation of entrepreneurs that to fire them. [00:06:00] S1: Seems like they missed [00:06:01] S0: the mark. Yeah. [00:06:02] S1: To inspire them. Uplift them. [00:06:04] S0: You could build any business out of your dorm room. Yep. [00:06:06] S1: Yep. And also, if they if the goal of this film is to really really take the viewer inside TBD and meta super intelligence and what's going on with Nat Friedman, Daniel Gross, Alex Wang, like Yeah. Feels like they just dropped the ball potentially. It's sort of crazy.

[00:06:27] S0: Yeah. Like, I didn't see, like, anyone that even resembled Jan Lecun. [00:06:30] S1: That is crazy to not to not highlight that and what's going on over there. The launch of Llama the Llama four moment, that could have been the crescendo. Yeah. Behemoth. Behemoth and all the drama around [00:06:43] S0: epic of that. [00:06:43] S1: You want drama. You want Hollywood drama. You want Oscar bait. Llama four behemoth. That story is gonna get put butts in seats. That's right. [00:06:51] S0: No. More seriously, it's hard for me to it's gonna be really hard to not look at Jeremy Strong and and
