Screenfeed, founded in 2008, now serves more than 200,000 screens daily and is shifting customers from licensed news and weather content to their own data via its Connect tool.
Uniguest is consolidating its legacy hardware-heavy products onto Hub, its cloud-based content management system, so IT and marketing teams can manage every screen from one login.
Mood Media's managed services group is winning clients who are outsourcing screens because their IT and marketing teams are overloaded, according to Chief Product Officer Trey Courtney.
Digital Signage Vendors Shift From Hardware to Cloud Services
Guest interviews
Jeremy Gavin, founder and CEO of Screenfeed. Screenfeed, founded in 2008, serves content to more than 200,000 screens every day and now helps customers display their own data. Its Connect tool pulls data from spreadsheets or any REST API, and projects that once took weeks can finish before lunch, usually for a one-time setup fee plus a small monthly fee. Gavin sees AI as an enabler, and says trained bots pick local events across 1,300 locations for its Community Events feature.
Trey Courtney, Chief Product Officer of Mood Media. Mood Media launched a managed services group about two years ago because clients' IT and marketing teams are overloaded. It covers remote monitoring, inventory management, break-fix repair and safety stock, tied into clients' ServiceNow ticketing. Courtney says Vibenomics, acquired by Mood, sells in-store audio ads programmatically and captures foot traffic data, with visual ads coming.
Stan Richter, CEO of SignageOS. Richter says SignageOS has moved from middleware to infrastructure as a service, with device management at its core. It reports more than 170,000 device management licenses and over 100 content management system integrations, with its largest installations in the United States. Its agents deploy on any hardware or operating system, and AI monitors screenshots to recover failed screens peer to peer.
Shawn O'Connell, Executive Vice President of Sales at Uniguest. Uniguest began in hospitality and now serves stadiums, corporate, senior living and healthcare customers, mostly through acquisitions over the last five years. It is folding legacy hardware-heavy products into Hub, its cloud-based content management system. O'Connell defines digital engagement as removing friction at every endpoint, from room TVs to lobby signage, under a single login.
