Odyssey. Builds world models that let robots and physical AI train in simulated environments, and has raised $370m from Amazon, AMD, NVIDIA and GV.
Guest interviews
Oliver Cameron, co-founder and CEO of Odyssey. Odyssey trains world models on visual observations so they learn the physics and cause and effect behind what they see. Its fruit fly video, where the world is imagined in real time, drew 6.2m views on X. Cameron puts his certainty that we live in a simulation at 90%, and says one world model session supports about 20 agents at once. A general model needs only 20 to 30 hours of driving experience to learn to drive.
