Metaview raises $60m led by Insight Partners, with GV, Intrepid, Growth Partners, Seed Camp and Plural participating, to expand its agentic recruiting platform.
Metaview launches fillmore, a Slack-based sourcing agent that Siadhal Magos says gives recruiters four to five times their prior productivity.
Magos says fillmore closes 15 to 20 percent of roles added in the first eight weeks, and Metaview expects to onboard 350 to 400 roles monthly.
Metaview raises $60M to put recruiting in agents' hands
Metaview is betting that AI agents will do most recruiting work, and that the company holding the richest hiring conversation data is best placed to build them. Its fillmore sourcing agent puts that into practice by running recruiting tasks in the background for recruiters. Trust is the hard part because agents talk to real people, so Metaview calibrates each agent to the customer and matches features to their appetite for risk.
Takeaways
Metaview raises $60M for agentic recruiting platform. Insight Partners led the Series C, with GV, Intrepid, Growth Partners, Seed Camp and Plural joining. In the year since the Series B, Metaview grew from a point solution for hiring conversations into a broader agentic recruiting platform.
Proprietary conversation data is the lasting advantage. Magos argues that as intelligence becomes abundant, scarce proprietary data becomes a company's main edge. Metaview handles about five to six million hiring conversations a year, which he sees as key context for recruiting agents. The data belongs to customers, not Metaview.
fillmore is an autonomous sourcing agent in Slack. Its sole objective is to get recruiters meetings with candidates who fit their roles. It runs long multistep tasks in the background, because Magos argues AI can now be trusted to do so. He estimates recruiters get four to five times their earlier productivity.
Recruiting agents need more trust than coding agents. Recruiting agents contact real people. Metaview uses calibration flows where customers confirm what a good candidate looks like and how the agent should sound. It also segments customers by AI risk appetite, giving cautious ones mature products and others newer features.
Early fillmore results show roles closing fast. fillmore closes about 15 to 20 percent of roles added in the first eight weeks after onboarding, with hires typically following after six to eight weeks. Metaview expects to onboard 350 to 400 roles monthly, while fillmore works 400 to 500 new ones.
Multi-agent usage is the main success metric. Magos says Metaview tracks usage across multiple agents, since using several makes better use of context. Customers see time to fill fall about 25 to 30 percent. Metaview's own average is about 23 days, top quartile against a good 30 to 45, though such measures need counterweights.
US drives revenue and funds go to team. About 50 to 60 percent of revenue comes from the US, after a San Francisco office last year and a New York office more recently. The money will build a larger team to keep pace with fast-changing models, and will fund marketing.
